When someone pronounces something to enforce what they feel right and they were happy to do it although it is wrong in the eyes of the public. They will still continue to do so despite opposition and negative views of some people who feel less comfortable with their treatment. They do not care what is said by other people, because they like what they do. They think that only way for them to fill their leisure time and how they feel they would be fun express their feeling to the others that they enjoy their life. They do not stand alone, with friends who support their interests or treatments that they think they feel safe and confident that what they are doing is correct.
That's how teens enjoy their lives.
